Carroll Lodge has been thoughtfully updated in 2021, including an open concept living, dining and kitchen space, while preserving the warmth and charm of the original 1970s log cabin. The primary bedroom boasts two queen beds, while the second bedroom has full sized bunk beds. The primary bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with two sinks, a soaking tub, and combined shower. The second bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Take a rest outside beneath the Ponderosa pines in one of the hammocks provided, drifting off to the soothing sounds of Tonto Creek.

Food and Dining

Dine indoors or al fresco on the deck, enjoying a meal from the well-appointed kitchen or grilled favorites from the BBQ. Stock up before arrival at Carroll Lodge at one of Payson’s grocery stores or check out the local restaurants that are just a short drive away. We hope you’ll enjoy disconnecting and taking advantage of the tranquil space. Read a book with a warm cup of tea near the window so you can enjoy the soundtrack of the babbling water. And get the family involved in one of the provided board games. The cabin supports modern conveniences with high-speed internet (approximately 50.0 Mbps download / 1.0 Mbps upload). There’s a landline phone available for emergencies and local calls.
